Manoir De Savigny is a truly peaceful and lovely place to stay. Rooms were beautiful, I stayed in the Colonial room it was lovely, breakfast very good. Easy access to road to Cherbourg and a few minutes from Valognes centre. Eric & Corrine Bonnifet were very nice hosts and helpful. Will return again. Jennifer & Ian Wood, Lymington, Hants. UK.

We recently stayed one night at the Manoir De Savigny as a stopover near Cherbourg before the ferry home. The photos on Booked.net were accurate and the room (Baroque double) was absolutely fantastic, with masses of space and extremely clean and tidy. My wife loved the style and comfort too and thought the roll top bath and tiled bathroom was fab. Location was very convenient, in the countryside so pleasantly quiet, but near to the main road into Cherbourg for an easy morning trip to the ferry terminal. The owner was also very friendly and helpful and we'd recommend the hotel to anyone needing a relaxing and stylish hotel/bnb near Cherbourg.

I stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was exquisite, with peaceful location adjacent to a lovely restaurant which was 18euros for four courses, and France and ultimately Europe. The staff was nice and lovely all the time. Staying here for shopping was very good, totally recommendable...

Charming place that will improve as owners extending to make salon for guests (next year). Need to engage owners about manior otherwise can feel a bit isolated. Breakfast could have been a bit more creative rather than standard breads, yogurts, mainly sweet cereals and jams.

The hotel satisfied our needs, close to Cherbourg Ferry port, clean comfortable room, very good breakfast, good food available for dinner in Vologne, We recieved helpful directions, in English, from owner and a warm welcome. We are planning to return and have reccomended to friends.
The location is a bit difficult down a narrow country lane but not offputting.
